Westbridge Foods are delighted to have raised £32,000 in 2011 for Macmillan Cancer Support at our annual golf event, The Andy Gray and Gary McAllister Charity Golf Classic held at the Celtic Manor Resort.  

2011 was the seventh year that Andy and Gary have given their time to support the event and persuaded their celebrity friends to come along and raise money which will help towards the research into the treatment and prevention of cancer.

Speaking to the Malvern Gazette who featured the article last week,  Hilary Al Rasheed who is the area fundraising Manager for Macmillian (pictured above with Westbridge Chairman Peter McNeil)  confirmed that the amount of money raised will pay for a fully kitted out Macmillan information pod,  including build costs, IT equipment, furniture and décor like the one at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

Westbridge Foods are looking forward to arranging and sponsoring the event once again this year and hope to raise an even greater sum.
